Multi-split system air conditioning consists of up to 7 neat, indoor units, which are mounted to walls or the floor and are connected, with piping, to one outdoor unit. Remote controls are then used to change the temperature and fan speed of the indoor units in each room.

Multi-split systems use only one outdoor unit, which is connected to multiple indoor units. The indoor units can be individually controlled. They are useful when a ducted air conditioning system is not possible or suitable at the property. Further, they are helpful when you wish to have more than one room air conditioned, but do not require a full ducted system.
